Experience

Product manager. Builder. I leave things running.

I’m a product manager at ArborXR . My main focus right now is an early-stage R&D project I can’t talk about yet. Alongside that, I’m the subject-matter expert for ArborXR Insights, the analytics product I helped build. I take customer calls, walk integrators through the SDK, test releases, and turn what I hear into well-formed work for the engineering team.

What I hope sets me apart is on the front page : I don’t just talk about AI, I build with it. A nightly housing scout for my brother-in-law’s college search. A 3D museum for a friend launching his art career. The pipeline that ships our public developer docs, and the brief that runs my own workday. All built solo, in spare hours, and still running.

Where I’ve been

ArborXR, Product Manager (2025 to present). I came in through the informXR acquisition and helped launch ArborXR Insights: real-time dashboards, LMS integrations, and the SDK pipeline that turns headset training data into results organizations can stand behind. It launched publicly in 2026 with ISV partners across enterprise and education. Today my main focus is the new R&D project, and I stay the go-to for Insights.

informXR, Co-Founder and VP of Product (2023 to 2025). An XR analytics startup. I owned product end to end, from UX to SCORM and LTI integrations to the dashboards themselves. I also did the unglamorous part: hundreds of pitches and demos at AWE and AES, feeding what the market said back into the roadmap. ArborXR acquired us in April 2025.

RBC Bearings, Manufacturing Engineering (2022 to 2024). Hired into tooling for aerospace bearings. Solidworks, GD&T, precision fixtures. I ended up building the software nobody asked a mechanical engineer to build: quoting automation and the Power BI reporting that leadership checked daily. That’s where I learned my favorite lesson. The person closest to the problem ships the best tool.

Before that: mechanical engineering at Cal Poly Pomona. I was steering captain and composites lead on our Formula SAE team, and interned designing kiosks.

The short version: I started out shipping physical things and never lost the habit.

How I work

  • Ship first, deck second. Every project on this site started as a working thing for a real person.
  • Constraints are design material. My favorite case study is the one where California rental law became the pricing model.
  • Honest status, always. One user is one user. Zero sales is pre-launch. Credibility compounds.
  • Kill your own features. I cut half of my own daily brief when usage showed the overlap.

Beyond the job

I lift to stay young and swim when I can. Sundays are for church, where I serve as an usher, a small role I take real joy in. The rest of my time goes to family: shows and board games with my wife, and travel when we can get away. Our last big trip was Japan. The ryokans alone were worth the flight, and I can’t wait to go back.
